Padres vs. Blue Jays Prediction
The Padres’ road woes have not been an issue in Toronto this week, as they beat the Blue Jays 9-1 and 2-0, respectively, the last two nights. Can they complete the sweep on Wednesday when the two teams meet at 1:07 p.m. ET?

San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Manny Machado went 1-for-5 with a pair of RBI on Wednesday, leading the Padres to a 2-0 win over Blue Jays. Machado drove in the only two runs in the game for either side with a fifth-inning single. It gives him 54 RBI on the season, and the 1-for-4 performance has him hitting .258/.313/.469 on the year. It certainly hasn’t been the season many expected of Machado, but he’s hitting .333 over 14 games so far in July, so perhaps we’re in the middle of an extended hot streak.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Bo Bichette had two hits in Wednesday’s loss to the Padres. Bichette had two of the Blue Jays’ six hits on the day and was the only player with multiple hits for Toronto. He also drew a walk and went 2-for-3 on the night, upping his season line to a solid .321/350/.499 with 16 home runs. The only negative for fantasy managers is that Bichette appears to have stopped running, with only three stolen bases on the season. Aside from that, he’s having another strong year.

Padres vs. Blue Jays MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I like the Padres in this series finale. Blake Snell owns a 5-1 record over his past 10 starts and has posted a 2.71 ERA this season. He has produced a 0.62 ERA, a 0.966 WHIP, a 3.64-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio and an average of 14.1 strikeouts per nine innings. Prior to his streak of 21 straight scoreless innings, Blake had stretches of 16 and 18 scoreless innings earlier in his 10-game run. The guy has been nails. Meanwhile, Toronto starter Chris Bassitt struggled in two starts against the Padres last year when he pitched for the Mets, posting a 0-2 record with a 7.84 ERA and 1.355 WHIP.
