San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Manny Machado went 1-for-3 with a solo homer on Friday against the Brewers. Machado provided the only run the Padres could get on Brandon Woodruff, taking him deep for a solo homer in the fourth inning. It was the fourth homer in six games for Machado, and 25th on the season. The 31-year-old third baseman is hitting .251/.320/.464 with 75 RBI across 488 plate appearances.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Rowdy Tellez went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI on Friday to lead the Brewers to a 7-3 win over the Padres. Tellez got his third start at designated hitter since coming off the injured list. He went deep for the first time since May 22, blasting a three-run shot off Yu Darvish in the third inning. Tellez drove in a fourth run with a base hit in the seventh. The 28-year-old slugger is hitting .214/.291/.395 with 13 homers and 41 RBI across 299 plate appearances.

Padres vs. Brewers MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I’m not sure why the Brewers are this inexpensive on the moneyline, but I’ll gladly take Milwaukee at this number. The Brewers have won six straight games and Peralta has been on a roll. The Brewers have won each of Peralta’s last five starts and he’s 4-0 over those games, allowing just five runs on 19 hits with seven walks and a whopping 50 strikeouts over 30 2/3 innings. He owns a 1.47 ERA over that stretch. Meanwhile, the Padres will counter with Avila, whose only other start this season came in a spot start/bullpen game on August 1. In 23 innings this season, he’s allowed three runs on 18 hits with nine walks and 28 strikeouts but had a 1-6 record with an 8.57 ERA over 19 appearances – 15 starts – in Triple A.
