San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Xander Bogaerts singled, walked and swiped his first base of the season as the Padres were shut out by the Mets on Monday night in New York. Bogaerts led off the ninth inning with a single off of Adam Ottavino and swiped second base to get himself into scoring position, but the Padres couldn’t cash him in to avoid the shut out. The 30-year-old shortstop has certainly impressed in his first few weeks with the Padres — slashing a healthy .325/.429/.625 with three homers, eight RBI and a stolen base in 11 games.
New York Mets DFS SPIN
Francisco Lindor doubled and drove in a pair of runs on Monday night, leading the Mets to a 5-0 victory over the visiting Padres. Lindor was hit by a pitch in the third inning, then raced around to score on Jeff McNeil’s two-run double. He then added a two-run double of his own in the seventh that extended the Mets’ advantage to 5-0. The superstar shortstop is off to a bit of a slow start at the dish, hitting just .216/.362/.405 with one home run, seven RBI and one stole base.
