The Padres have pulled off back-to-back upsets in Queens over the last two nights but will they sweep the Mets when the two teams play on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball at 7:08 p.m. ET?
Game Snapshot

Citi Field, Queens, NY
San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Manny Machado hit a two-run homer in a 2-1 win for the Padres on Saturday against the Mets. Machado broke up a 0-0 game with a two-run shot in the sixth of another otherwise-dominant Chris Bassitt. It’s the 16th homer for the All-Star, and the 53rd RBI. Machado is no longer playing at an MVP level, but a .298/.373/.512 slash is hard to complain about.
New York Mets DFS SPIN
Pete Alonso scored a run while going 3-for-4 in a loss on Saturday to the Padres. Alonso scored the only run for the Mets after J.D. Davis picked up an RBI single in the ninth. The infielder also had the only extra-base hit of the contest with a double of Blake Snell. With the three hits, Alonso has an outstanding triple slash of .271/.345/.521 to go along with his 24 homers and 78 RBI. Not much to complain about here.
Padres vs. Mets MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Padres are 4-1 in their last five games versus the Mets and are 4-1 in their last five games versus a team with a winning record. On the other side, the Mets are just 1-5 in their last six games versus a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15, are 2-6 in their last eight games versus a team with a winning record and are 3-7 in their last 10 games against opponents from the National League West.
