San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Brandon Drury homered and drove in three runs on Wednesday afternoon as the Padres rallied to defeat the Phillies 8-5 in Game 2 of the NLCS. The Phillies jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top half of the second inning in this one, but there wasn’t any quit in the Padres. Drury got them on the board with a solo shot off of Aaron Nola in the bottom half of the second, while Josh Bell followed with a solo blast of his own. He then added a two-run single during a five-run uprising in the fifth in which the Padres took control of the game. He finished the night 2-for-4 and is hitting .158/.158/.316 with one homer and three RBI on the postseason. The Padres will now head to Philadelphia for Game 3 on Friday with the series knotted up at a game apiece.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Rhys Hoskins went 1-for-4 and clubbed a solo home run in Game 2 of the NLCS on Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough to power the Phillies past the Padres. Hoskins socked his 409-foot dinger off of Robert Suarez on the first pitch of the eighth inning, pulling the Phillies to within three runs at 8-5. That would be as close as they would get though. On the postseason, he’s slashing a depressing .147/.171/.353 with two homers and five RBI
