Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Seranthony Dominguez picked up a blown save and a loss while allowing five runs Friday against the Phillies. Oof. Dominguez was tasked with protecting a one-run lead in the eighth. He, well, didn’t. The right-hander gave up a two-run homer to Ronald Acuña to give up that lead, and he ended up giving up three more runs and only getting two outs. Dominguez has been excellent for most of the 2022 season, but fantasy managers who had him in the lineup are going to be awfully disappointed with these results.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Ozzie Albies golfed a two-run double on Friday in his return to the Braves’ lineup. Albies started at second base and batted eighth during Friday’s lopsided win over the Phillies, his first major-league action since fracturing his left foot back on June 13. He blooped a two-run double to shallow left field off Phillies reliever Nick Nelson in the eighth inning to add a pair of insurance runs. He figures to remains the Braves’ primary second baseman with rookie Vaughn Grissom ticketed for a utility role heading towards the postseason.
