Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Bryce Harper homered, singled, walked twice, scored two runs and swiped a base on Saturday, leading the Phillies to a 3-0 victory over the Braves in Game 1 of the NLDS in Atlanta. The 30-year-old superstar was the Phillies’ offense in this one. He worked a one-out walk off of Spencer Strider in the fourth inning, took second base on an errant pickoff throw from Spencer Strider and scored on a two-out RBI single from Bryson Stott. Harper then clobbered a 375-foot (115.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Strider in the sixth inning that extended the Phillies’ lead to 2-0. He also walked in the eighth inning and swiped second base, but the Phillies couldn’t cash him in. The Phillies will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead on Monday evening in Atlanta.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Ronald Acuña Jr. was held hitless as the Braves fell to the Phillies in Game 1 of the NLDS on Saturday evening in Atlanta. As a team, the Braves tallied only five hits while being shut out by Ranger Suárez and a host of Phillies’ relievers. The 25-year-old superstar had a chance at an RBI in the fifth inning, as he came to the plate with runners at the corners and only one out in a 1-0 ballgame, but he took a called third strike from Seranthony Dominguez. He then walked in the eighth inning and advanced to third base with only one out, but the Braves couldn’t cash him in. The Braves will already have their backs against the wall when they take the field in Game 2 on Monday night.

Phillies vs. Braves Game 2 MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Take Philadelphia. Wheeler owns a .236 batting average against the current Atlanta roster, coupled with a .419 expected slugging percentage and a .300 xwOBA. Those aren’t eye-popping numbers, but they are slightly better than Fried’s metrics versus the current Philadelphia roster. Fried owns a .277 batting average against, a .451 expected slugging percentage and a .344 xwOBA. Following tonight, I think the Braves’ incredible season will be in jeopardy.
