Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Bryce Harper doubled in two runs while going 2-for-4 with a double on Saturday in a rout of the Red Sox. Harper’s two-run double gave Philadelphia an 11-2 lead in the eighth. Still counts. The outfielder is starting to drive in runs on a more consistent basis but still has just 38 on the year, but his .283/.380/.525 slash is a better indicator with how Harper has played when healthy.
Boston Red Sox DFS Spin
Xander Bogaerts hit a solo homer on Saturday in a loss to the Phillies. Bogaerts got the Red Sox on the board with a solo homer off Matt Moore. The star shortstop has homered 14 times this year, and has (somewhat) quietly been one of the best at his position this year with a slash of .322/.385/.539.
Phillies vs. Red Sox Betting Prediction
The Phillies have won five of their last seven games at Fenway Park, but are just 19-39 in their last 58 games versus the Red Sox overall. They’re also just 1-5 in their last six interleague road games despite winning yesterday in Boston and are 0-4 in their last four games when playing the third game of a series. Worse yet, the Phillies are winless in their last six interleague road games when facing a right-handed starter while the Red Sox have won nine of their last 10 games at Fenway and are 7-0 in their last seven home games versus a right-handed starter.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: BOSTON RED SOX -115
