Pittsburgh Pirates DFS SPIN
Jack Suwinski hit a pair of solo homers Monday against the Giants. The second was off second baseman Brett Wisely in the ninth, but that’s fine with us. Suwinski has 11 homers this season, including four in his last four games. His batting average has really tumbled of late — he’s at .192 in his last 24 games — but being on a 30-homer pace goes a long way. He actually has 30 homers through 151 career games, as he hit 19 in 106 games as a rookie last year.
San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Austin Slater went 3-for-6 with a homer and four RBI as the Giants pillaged the Pirates 14-4 on Monday. Slater was playing in his first game after three weeks on the IL due to a hamstring strain. He’s appeared in just nine games this year because of a couple of injures, but he’s gone 10-for-25 with six RBI and three walks in his limited action. While the Giants will mostly play him against lefties, he’s perfectly capable of handling expanded duty if needed.
