Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Josh Jung went 2-for-5 and hit a two-run homer against the Astros on Monday. Jung struck out in his other three at-bats, and he’s currently tied for fourth in the majors with 122 strikeouts on the season. Still, he’s been awfully good when making contact, batting .275 with 20 homers and 61 RBI. He remains the AL Rookie of the Year favorite at this point, even though Gunnar Henderson has caught him in WAR.
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Chas McCormick had a three-run homer, a two-run double and a sac fly Monday in leading the Astros to a 10-9 win over the Rangers. It was actually Yainer Diaz who had the game-winning hit in the ninth, but the Astros were only in that position because McCormick had a career-game. The two-run double, hit 418 feet to center, would have been a grand slam in 24 ballparks, which might have led to an eight-RBI game for McCormick. Still, six isn’t bad. A legitimate star this season, McCormick has a .902 OPS in 241 plate appearances, which seems pretty good for someone who sat on the bench in favor of Jake Meyers in the Astros’ first two games of the season.

Rangers vs. Astros MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Rangers have been the team to beat in the AL West for much of the season, but signs of the ‘little brother’ not being able to topple ‘big brother’ are starting to show. While Texas has been able to take advantage of Houston’s depleted starting pitching and gassed bullpen (even without Corey Seager and Adolis Garcia last night), the Rangers have now fallen three straight times to the ‘Stros. The challenge of beating their division rival doesn’t get easier tonight, as rookie J.P. France will start tonight for Houston. France is 5-3 on the season with a 3.13 ERA and is 4-2 with a 2.66 ERA during an eight-game hot streak. Most importantly for Houston right now, France has recorded quality starts in seven out of his past eight outings. If he can navigate a dangerous but depleted Texas lineup tonight and save the pen from having to eat too many innings, I like the ‘Stros to win for a fourth consecutive time versus the Rangers.
