Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Adolis Garcia went 3-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Wednesday’s 10-inning win over the Astros. All three of Garcia’s hits went for singles in what was a nice overall performance by the 29-year-old outfielder. On the whole this season, Garcia is working to a .252/.303/.459 batting line with 19 homers, 71 RBI and 15 steals in 106 games. Seeing the ball well of late, he is now up to a seven-game hitting streak.
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Yordan Alvarez went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday’s 10-inning loss to the Rangers. Alvarez had just one hit on the evening, but it was a huge one, as he whacked a solo game-tying homer off Brock Burke with one out in the seventh inning. That long ball tied the game at 3-3 and set things up for eventual extras, though the Rangers would plate five in the top of the 10th to take much of the drama out of the affair. On the whole this season, Alvarez is slashing a stellar .295/.401/.633 with 31 homers and 74 RBI in 332 at-bats. The 25-year-old slugger had gone 10 straight games without a home run before coming up clutch against the Rangers.
