Latest on Darvish via Rotoworld: Darvish wasn’t at his best on Sunday, but still managed to earn his fifth victory of the season by limiting the Tigers to two runs on five hits over five innings. Darvish racked up seven strikeouts on the night while walking four. He needed 105 pitches to battle through his five frames, but was able to limit the damage overall and turn in a relatively solid start. Now 5-2 on the season, the right-hander owns a 2.83 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 68/27 K/BB ratio through 63 2/3 innings on the year.
Estrada was dominant on Sunday in Baltimore, holding the Orioles to one run while striking out 12 batters in the Blue Jays’ 3-1 victory. The one run he gave up came on a solo shot by Adam Jones in the bottom of the fourth inning. Estrada yielded just five hits in all and issued only one walk.
