Texas Rangers DFS SPIN

Mitch Garver clubbed a tie-breaking solo homer on Tuesday, leading the Rangers to a 2-1 victory over the Mets. Garver snapped a scoreless stalemate with a seventh-inning blast off Mets reliever Drew Smith. It was his 13th long ball of the season with eight of those coming in just 23 games since the outset of August. He also drew a pair of walks in this one, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances on the night.

New York Mets DFS SPIN

Mark Vientos belted a solo homer on Tuesday in the Mets’ loss to the Rangers. Vientos broke up a potential shutout with a ninth-inning blast off Rangers closer Aroldis Chapman for his third round-tripper of the season. It was the first time he’s gone deep since returning from the injured list last weekend following a brief absence due to a wrist injury.

Rangers vs. Mets MLB BETTING PREDICTION

Give me Texas. Both of these offenses have struggled of late, but neither pitcher breeds much confidence, either. Dunning is 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA and 4.46 FIP over his last three starts (16 innings). Both of these teams have also dropped seven out of their last 10 games, respectively, but the Rangers are 75-57 on the year while the Mets are 60-73 and gave up around the All-Star break. I’ll take the better team getting plus points.

MLB BETTING PREDICTION: TEXAS RANGERS +100
