Texas Rangers DFS Spin
The Rangers announced that Andrew Heaney will start Game 1 of the ALDS, following by Jordan Montgomery in Game 2, It went unannounced, but Nathan Eovaldi almost surely will get the ball in Gam 3. Dane Dunning would have been the Game 1 starter against most lineups, but the Rangers will try to combat the lefties and switch-hitters at the top of the Orioles order with Heaney and then likely turn things over to Dunning.
Baltimore Orioles DFS Spin
Gunnar Henderson had a rough season finale Sunday, going 0-for-3 with a walk and making two errors at third base against the Red Sox. The bad day didn’t mean much of anything. Henderson will be the AL Rookie of the Year, probably in unanimous fashion, and he’s going to get a chance to take part in the ALDS next week against either the Rays or Rangers. He finishes at .255/.325/.489 with 28 homers and 82 RBI in 622 plate appearances.
