Texas Rangers DFS SPIN

Evan Carter finished 2-for-2 with two walks and a steal against the Rays in Tuesday’s Game 1 win. Carter did have an error in left, as he bobbled a ball to Isaac Paredes a free base on a single. However, he also made an excellent diving catch earlier in the game. The Rangers debated hitting Carter third today before going with Robbie Grossman there and slotting Carter into the ninth spot. Maybe they’ll reconsider Wednesday, particularly given that Grossman, who hasn’t hit righties this year, went 0-for-4 with a walk.

Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN

Playing in a game for the first time in three weeks, Jose Siri went 0-for-3 with a pair of miscues in center field Tuesday against the Rangers. It was just an ugly game for Siri. He had a potential jumping catch at the wall go off his wrist, and he committed an error on a bad throw to third after a liner to center one-hopped off his glove. At the plate, he popped up a bunt for an out with runners at the corners and one out in the second. There’s a good chance he’ll be on the bench Wednesday after this showing.

Rangers vs. Rays Game 2 MLB BETTING PREDICTION

Take Texas. I backed the Rangers yesterday and I see little reason to fade them today. Nathan Eovaldi owns a .178 batting average against and a .223 wOBA versus the Rays’ current roster. His .208 expected batting average against, .270 expected slugging percentage and his .251 xwOBA are all outstanding as well. The current Rangers’ roster is also batting .455 against Zach Eflin, with a .642 wOBA. Their expected slugging percentage versus Eflin is also a healthy .603, with a .376 xwOBA mixed in as well.
