Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
Brett Phillips went 0-for-4 from the bottom of the Rays’ lineup in Monday’s loss. Especially now that Kevin Kiermaier is officially out for the year, it’d be nice if Phillips could step it up a bit. He’s playing quality defense, but he’s 3-for-45 with 21 strikeouts in his last 55 plate appearances and he’s at just .146/.227/.253 for the year.
Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Ryan Mountcastle had a two-run single as part of the Orioles’ 5-1 win over the Rays on Monday. Both teams had eight hits tonight, but while the Rays had a homer and two doubles, all of Baltimore’s were singles. Fortunately for them, the Orioles managed to string a few of theirs together, scoring four of their five runs in the fifth. Mountcastle plated his two then, giving him 48 RBI on the season. That sandwiches him right in between Anthony Santander’s 50 and Austin Hays’ 48 for the Orioles’ team high.
Rays vs. Orioles MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Rays are now 1-6 in their last seven road games, are 1-5 in their last six games when facing an opponent with a losing record and are 1-6 in their last seven road games when facing an opponent with a sub-.500 record. On the other side, the Orioles are 10-2 in their last 12 home games, are 4-1 in their last five home games when facing a left-handed starter and are 5-0 in their last five games when their opponent scored two runs or less in its previous contest.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: BALTIMORE ORIOLES +168
