Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
Isaac Paredes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday’s loss to the Royals. The home run was Paredes’ 17th of the year and is just three shy of tying a career-high for the 24-year-old. Despite being part of an infield rotation in Tampa Bay, Paredes is hitting .261/.364/.504 on the season with 57 RBI. He may never hit the ball incredibly hard, but he appears to understand how to tailor his swing and approach for his skillset and has remained a consistent contributor in Tampa Bay all season.
Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Marcus Semien hit a solo homer, walked twice and scored three runs as the Rangers edged the Guardians 6-5 on Sunday. Semien’s homer, as per usual, was a shot down the right field line and was projected at just 349 feet. It was his first of July and 12th of the season. Even though he’s slumped lately, Semien still leads the AL with 75 runs scored. He’s batting .272/.342/.443 on the season.

Rays vs. Rangers MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I think this total is too high given the pitching matchup. I know Shane McClanahan had back-to-back short outings before landing on the IL with back tightness, but assuming he’s good to go again, his 11-1 record and 2.53 ERA speaks for itself. Meanwhile, Dane Dunning has quietly been one of the best pitchers in Texas’ rotation. He enters play tonight with an 8-2 record and a 2.84 ERA. I realize the firepower on both sides, but I envision runs being at a premium tonight in Arlington.
