Will the Rays and Rangers play to another pitcher’s duel on Tuesday night when Taj Bradley opposes Nathan Eovaldi in the pitching matchup or is there a better play on the board when these teams continue their series at 8:05 p.m. ET?

Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
After coming into a tie game in the ninth, Pete Fairbanks gave up the winning run on a wild pitch Monday against the Rangers. Christian Bethancourt has been one of the league’s worst blockers this year, and he was too slow to react to Fairbanks’ wild fastball, allowing pinch-runner Josh Smith to score from third. Fairbanks had almost escaped after allowing a leadoff double to Josh Jung to begin the frame, getting two outs while the runner moved to third.
Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Ezequiel Duran hit a two-run homer Monday as the Rangers edged the Rays 3-2. Duran’s 418-foot homer off Shane McClanahan in the sixth was responsible for the Rangers’ lone runs through eight innings before they won the game on a wild pitch in the ninth. Duran has now started seven out of eight games after sitting out against consecutive right-handers earlier this month. As long as he keeps playing regularly, he should be worth using in shallow leagues.

Rays vs. Rangers MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Rangers will send All-Star right-hander Nathan Eovaldi to the hill tonight. He’s 10-3 with a 2.83 ERA and will oppose a rookie in Taj Bradley who is 5-5 with a 5.43 ERA. In 16 career appearances (14 starts) against the Rays, Eovaldi owns a respectable 4.17 ERA. He surrendered four runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings when he faced Tampa back on June 10, striking out six and walking three. Bradley, meanwhile, went 0-2 with an 11.68 ERA over his last three starts before the All-Star break and I don’t like his chances of rebounding tonight against a potent Texas lineup.
