Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
Wander Franco (quad) is scheduled to begin agility drills on Monday. It’s a massive step forward in Franco’s recovery process as the Rays have been extremely cautious with their franchise cornerstone, who has been out since late May when he sustained a right quad strain while running the bases. The 21-year-old superstar shortstop appears poised to ramp up baseball activity in the coming days, but there isn’t a definitive timeline for his return to Tampa Bay’s lineup at this stage in his rehabilitation.
New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Matt Carpenter went 3-for-4 with two homers and seven RBI on Sunday, leading the Yankees to an 18-4 blowout victory over the Cubs. Carpenter drew a bases-loaded walk in the opening frame before slugging a three-run homer off lefty reliever Daniel Norris in the ensuing frame. He capped off the multi-homer performance with a two-run blast against righty Alec Mills in the sixth inning. He also added an RBI double in the seventh inning, just for good measure. The 36-year-old veteran infielder has eight hits, including six round-trippers, in 24 at-bats since making his Yankees debut back on May 26.
Rays vs. Yankees MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Rays are 13-5 in their last 18 meetings with the Yankees in New York. They’re also 6-2 in their last eight games versus a team with a winning record, they’re 56-26 in their last 82 divisional games and 10-4 in their last 14 games versus a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15.
