Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-5 with a two-run double on Sunday, leading the Red Sox to a 7-2 comeback victory over the Brewers. Bogaerts kick-started the Red Sox’ five-run outburst in the fifth inning with a clutch two-run double to left field off Brewers starter Aaron Ashby. The 29-year-old superstar shortstop, who appears extremely unlikely to be dealt prior to Tuesday’s trade deadline, is hitting .316/.392/.459 with 57 runs scored, eight home runs, 45 RBI and seven stolen bases across 416 plate appearances
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Yordan Alvarez delivered a game-winning single in the 10th as the Astros edged the Mariners 3-2 on Sunday. Considering the differences in defensive value and playing time, there’s no arguing for Alvarez over Aaron Judge as the AL MVP through four months. Still, Alvarez is leading the majors with a .417 OBP and he’s right there with Judge in slugging percentage (.670 to .671 for Judge). He’s an incredible force right now.
