Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
J.D. Martinez (groin) remains out of the Red Sox’ starting lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Rays. Martinez will miss his third consecutive game due to a left adductor strain, which he sustained during Wednesday’s loss to the Blue Jays. The 34-year-old slugger was available to pinch-hit on Friday night and it sounds like he’ll avoid a trip to the injured list.
Tampa Bay Rays DFS Spin
Kevin Kiermaier went 1-3 with a home run and two RBI in a 3-2 victory over the Red Sox in extra innings. It’s his first home run of the season. Kiermaier hit the walk-off two-run bomb against Hansel Robles in the bottom of the tenth inning of Saturday’s victory. The long time Ray hasn’t been fantasy relevant in recent seasons but when he is healthy, Tampa Bay will continue to have him play every day due to his elite defense in center field.
