Game Snapshot
923 Boston Red Sox (+125) at 924 Tampa Bay Rays (-145); o/u 8.5
7:08 p.m. ET, Sunday, August 1, 2021
Tropicana Field, Tampa, FL
Boston Red Sox DFS Notes
Xander Bogaerts lifted his 16th home run of the season on Saturday as the Red Sox fell to the Rays. The 28-year-old went 1-for-2 with two walks during the contest and is now batting .309/.374/.522 over 362 at-bats with 55 RBI, 62 runs scored, and five stolen bases. Bogaerts was recently out with a minor wrist injury, but certainly looks fine now.
Tampa Bay Rays DFS Notes
Francisco Mejia went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI during the Rays victory over the Red Sox. The 25-year-old has performed well this year as the backup to all-star Mike Zunino and is now batting .333 with a .667 slugging percentage over his last 15 contests. Mejia is certainly talented enough to start, but until he does he will not carry much fantasy value.

On the other side, the Rays are 12-3 in their last 15 games versus a team with a winning record, are 38-13 in their last 51 games coming off a win and are 64-23 in their last 87 games as a home favorite.
