Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Bobby Dalbec blasted a go-ahead solo homer in the sixth inning on Sunday night, powering the Red Sox to a 4-3 victory over the Yankees in New York. Dalbec jumped on the very first pitch that he saw from Clarke Schmidt, sending it 391 feet into the seats in right-center field to give the Red Sox a lead they’d never relinquish. He also drew a walk and struck out in the ballgame, finishing the night 1-for-2 officially. The 26-year-old slugger is now 2-for-10 (.200) with one RBI through the first three games of the 2022 season.
Detroit Tigers DFS Spin
Victor Reyes hit an RBI triple Sunday in the Tigers’ loss to the White Sox. Reyes was responsible for the Tigers’ lone run of the one-sided affair and was arguably the lone bright spot for Detroit in this forgettable one. He scalded an RBI triple to right-center field off hard-throwing righty Michael Kopech in the second inning. The 27-year-old outfielder has been pressed into a larger role this year with top prospect Riley Greene sidelined due to injury and has some relevance for fantasy managers in AL-only formats.
