Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Hunter Renfroe clubbed his 16th home run of the season on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Red Sox past the Rays. Renfroe launched a solo shot off of Shane McClanahan in the fourth inning — the lone run that they would tally in six innings against the Rays starter. He finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .255/.314/.459 with 16 long balls and 57 RBI on the season.
Detroit Tigers DFS Spin
Eric Haase hammered a go-ahead two-run double on Sunday, leading the Tigers to a 6-2 victory over the Orioles in the finale of a four-game series at Comerica Park. Haase erased the Tigers’ early two-run deficit with a booming two-run double to straightaway center field off righty Spenser Watkins in the bottom of the first inning. It was his lone hit in four at-bats, but it made a huge difference in a low-scoring affair. The 28-year-old backstop has emerged as a viable mixed-league contributor, hitting .246/.301/.555 with 36 runs scored, 18 home runs, 46 RBI and one steal across 229 plate appearances this season.
