Red Sox vs. Yankees Prediction
The suddenly struggling Yankees are in danger of limping into the MLB All-Star Break instead of cruising like they’ve done for most of baseball’s first half. Will the Red Sox pull off another upset at Yankee Stadium tonight at 7:15 p.m. ET?

Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Bobby Dalbec went 2-for-5 and homered Friday as the Red Sox edged the Yankees 5-4 in 11 innings. Dalbec was also at the plate when the go-ahead run scored on Michael King’s wild pitch in the 11th, which he deserves a little credit for (if he had swung at the two-strike slider, he would have missed, ending the inning). Dalbec’s homer off Aroldis Chapman gave the Red Sox a 4-3 lead in the seventh, though they couldn’t hold on to that. It was Dalbec’s seventh homer of the year. He’s still batting just .208/.289/.348 overall.
New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Aaron Hicks (shin) went 0-for-2 with a walk on Friday against the Red Sox. Hicks came off the bench as a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning and wound up staying in Friday’s extra-inning marathon at Yankee Stadium. The veteran outfielder has been absent from New York’s starting lineup for three straight games after fouling a ball off his right shin earlier this week. It appears highly likely he’ll return this weekend.
