Red Sox vs. Yankees Sunday Prediction
This week’s ESPN Sunday Night Baseball matchup will feature the Red Sox and Yankees at 7:08 p.m. ET to wrap up another weekend of baseball. With Martin Perez on the bump for Boston to oppose New York’s Jameson Taillon, what’s the best bet on the board in tonight’s primetime matchup?
Game Snapshot
927 Boston Red Sox (-105) at 928 New York Yankees (-115); o/u 9.5

Yankee Stadium, New York, NY
Boston Red Sox DFS Notes
Jarren Duran reached base twice in his big league debut on Saturday, going 1-for-2 plus a walk in a loss to the Yankees. The 24-year-old lined (98.3 mph exit velocity) the first pitch that he saw from Gerrit Cole for a single into center field in the second inning. He then came around to score the Red Sox only run on an RBI single by Christian Arroyo. With his tantalizing blend of power and speed, Duran should be an extremely popular (and expensive) addition in free agent bidding on Sunday.
New York Yankees DFS Notes
Gary Sanchez blasted his 16th home run of the season on Saturday as the Yankees bested the Red Sox 3-1 in a rain-shortened affair in the Bronx. Sanchez smacked a go-ahead opposite field shot off of Hirokazu Sawamura in the sixth inning to give the Bombers a 2-1 lead. The ball traveled 362 feet and was his only hit in two at-bats on the night. The hard-hitting backstop is now slashing .217/.331/.464 with 16 long balls and 36 RBI on the season.
Red Sox vs. Yankees MLB Betting Prediction
The Red Sox have won eight of their last nine games with the Yankees, are 7-3 in their last 10 games coming off a loss and are 22-8 in their last 30 matchups with divisional rivals. On the side, the Yankees are just 1-4 in their last five home games, are 1-4 in their last five divisional games and are 2-6 in their last eight games played on Sunday.
