Cincinnati Reds DFS SPIN
Elly De La Cruz goes deep as the Reds swept the Diamondbacks on Sunday. The home run was De La Cruz’s only hit of the game and his fifth big fly of the season since being called up in June. Despite flashing impressive raw tools, it’s been a tough month for De La Cruz, who came into the day hitting .232/.280/.319 with a 33% strikeout rate in 17 games in July. However, he also has eight stolen bases in those games and his home run today left the bat at 110.7 mph, so you can see the fantasy-friendly toolset he brings to the table. We just have to continue to expect inconsistencies from him during his rookie season given his aggressive approach at the plate.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Rowdy Tellez will get the stitches removed from his fractured ring finger on Tuesday. The 28-year-old slugger is expected to resume swinging a bat as soon as Wednesday as he continues his recovery. Tellez has been shelved since July 5 due to inflammation in his right forearm and a fractured ring finger. He’s going to need a minor league rehab assignment before he’s ready to return to the Brewers’ lineup.

Reds vs. Brewers MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Given the starting pitching matchup, runs should not be at a premium tonight in Milwaukee. Graham Ashcraft is 2-1 with a 1.82 ERA over his last four outings, but he’s got ugly numbers (0-4, 8.03 ERA) in his five career starts versus Milwaukee. He’s 0-2 against the Brewers this season, allowing 11 earned runs in 10 combined innings. On the other side, Colin Rea is 4-0 in five career games – four starts – versus the Reds, but his win-loss record is misleading considering his ERA in those games is 6.20. He’s 1-0 with a 7.45 ERA in two starts this season versus the Reds, allowing eight earned runs in 9 2/3 innings.
