Cincinnati Reds DFS SPIN
Eugenio Suárez went 0-for-4 on Thursday in the Reds’ loss to the Brewers. Suárez had plenty of opportunities to do damage with runners on-base in the early stages of the contest, but came up empty each time in this one. He lined out with the bases loaded in the opening frame, grounded into a double play in the third inning, and also lined out with the bases loaded in the fifth inning. The 29-year-old infielder owns a disastrous .177/.256/.371 triple-slash line with 40 runs scored, 17 homers and 49 RBI across 347 plate appearances this season.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS Spin
Avisaíl García launched a tiebreaking two-run homer on Thursday, powering the Brewers to a 5-3 victory over the Reds in the opener of a four-game series at American Family Field. García showed zero ill effects from a lingering hamstring issue, putting the Brewers ahead for good with a clutch 426-foot smash to center field off righty Brad Brach in the eighth inning. He also opened the scoring with an RBI single back in the opening frame. The 30-year-old outfielder has been outstanding to open the 2021 campaign, hitting .252/.315/.460 with 37 runs scored, 16 home runs, 54 RBI and four steals across 302 plate appearances.
Reds vs. Brewers Betting Prediction
Despite losing last night, the Reds are still 4-1 in their last five meetings with the Brewers and are 5-1 in their last six games at American Family Field (or Miller Park, as it was called in previous years). Cincinnati is also still 6-1 in its last seven divisional games, is 5-1 in its last six games coming off a loss and is 6-2 in its last eight games overall. The Brewers have been hot as well, but Wade Miley should give the Reds the advantage over Eric Lauer and Milwaukee in tonight’s matchup.
