Nick Castellanos went 2-for-4 with a solo homer against the Brewers on Wednesday. The Reds just had no answer for Brandon Woodruff and the Brewers on Wednesday, going scoreless until the ninth inning. Castellanos blasted a 107 mile per hour homer off of Jake Cousins that traveled 435 feet to center field. He had singled earlier in the game but was thrown out at second trying to stretch it into a double. The 29-year-old outfielder is up to 23 home runs with an excellent .320/.377/.571 triple-slash and 71 RBI across 446 plate appearances.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS Notes
Avisail Garcia went 1-for-2 with a double, one RBI, one run scored, and a walk against the Reds on Wednesday. After Christian Yelich doubled to lead off the fourth inning, Garcia drove him in with a double of his own off of Luis Castillo to put the Brewers on the board. He was hit by Castillo to start the seventh and scored on a double by Jace Peterson. Garcia was intentionally walked in the eighth to set up the potential double play. The 30-year-old outfielder also helped keep the Reds off the board with an incredible home run robbing catch in the top of the eighth. Garcia is having a solid second season with the Brewers, hitting .275/.346/.506 with 24 homers, 76 RBI, and seven steals over 433 plate appearances.
