Tommy Edman blasted a two-run walk-off homer in the ninth inning on Saturday, propelling the Cardinals to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over the Reds. The Cardinals were down to their final out in this one, when Edman smacked a 2-1 offering from Joel Kuhnel into the seats in right field to send the Cardinals faithful into a frenzy. Edman also singled and scored a pair of runs in the ballgame, finishing the afternoon 2-for-5. He’s having an All-Star caliber season, slashing .278/.357/.419 with six homers, 25 RBI and 15 stolen bases.
