Reds vs. Mets MLB Prediction
The red-hot Joey Votto and the Cincinnati Reds will travel to the Big Apple this weekend where they’ll take on the Mets for a three-game series. With Sonny Gray set to oppose Carlos Carrasco in the pitching matchup tonight at 7:10 p.m. ET, what’s the best bet when it comes to Game 1 of this series?
Game Snapshot
905 Cincinnati Reds (+110) at 906 New York Mets (-135); o/u 8
7:10 p.m. ET, Friday, July 30, 2021
Citi Field, New York, NY
Cincinnati Reds DFS Notes
Joey Votto went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer Thursday in the win over the Cubs. Votto’s eighth homer in six games was his 20th of the season. He has more homers in these six games than he had hit in any single month since June 2017.
New York Mets DFS Notes
Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Mets have shown interest in Javier Baez. The Mets have long been listed as a potential destination for Kris Bryant, but they are evidently talking to the Cubs about Baez, as well. Baez would give the Mets a replacement for Francisco Lindor (oblique) at shortstop before then sliding over to second base when Lindor returns.
