Cincinnati Reds DFS SPIN
Donovan Solano had an RBI double in the eighth and a sac fly in the 10th as the Reds topped the Brewers 4-2 on Sunday. It’s surprising no team made a bid for Solano before the deadline. He missed the first 2 1/2 months this season, but he’s hit .298/.351/.446 since returning and he’s a steady defender at second or third. He would have been a nice role player for a contender.
New York Mets DFS SPIN
Edwin Díaz struck out the side in the ninth to lock down his 26th save of the season on Sunday against the Braves. Díaz entered the top of the ninth with a three-run lead and proceeded to strike out Dansby Swanson on a slider, Matt Olson on another slider, and Austin Riley on a 101.5-mph four-seam fastball. The 28-year-old fireman hasn’t allowed an earned run since June 18th.
