Colorado Rockies DFS SPIN
X-rays came back negative on Kris Bryant’s forearm after being hit by a pitch during Wednesday’s game against the Astros. Rockies manager Bud Black said afterwards that Bryant was lifted from the contest for precautionary reasons and is going to be fine. Fantasy managers should expect Bryant to be ready to return for Friday’s series opener against the Marlins following Thursday’s scheduled off day.
Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Bryan De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Marlins’ loss to the Cardinals. De La Cruz took righty reliever Ryan Tepera deep in the eighth inning for his 12th big fly of the season, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Miami from dropping their sixth consecutive contest coming out of the All-Star break.

Rockies vs. Marlins MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I know the Marlins are in the midst of a rough stretch, dropping six straight games that included a sweep at the hands of the Cardinals in St. Louis. That said, they’re also 30-18 at home this season, whereas the Rockies are just 14-33 on the road. The Marlins have also won three consecutive home series, going 8-3 during that span, while the Rockies have lost four consecutive road series, posting a 1-11 mark over that span. Braxton Garrett (5-2, 3.90 ERA) has been solid for the Marlins this season and while the Rox have yet to announce a starter, I don’t think it matters. None of Colorado’s five main starters have an ERA lower than 4.70.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: MIAMI MARLINS -225
