Colorado Rockies DFS SPIN
Michael Toglia finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts against the Marlins on Sunday. Toglia might wind up finishing the season as the Rockies’ first baseman if C.J. Cron is traded, but it’s hard to get excited about that possibility. He’s batted just .200/.264/.347 with a 36% strikeout rate in 163 plate appearances for the Rockies since debuting last year. He has hit 46 homers in 187 games in the minors the last two years, but he’s been aided by excellent environments for offense and he’s still been just a .250 hitter.
Washington Nationals DFS SPIN
Lane Thomas had three hits in the Nationals’ 6-1 win over the Giants on Sunday. Thomas went 3-for-4 on the day with two runs scored, one RBI, and a whopping four stolen bases. The steals bring his season total up to 12 to go along with 16 home runs. With a .295/.341/.494 triple slash, Thomas is one of the most underrated fantasy outfielders going right now. But perhaps it should be no surprise that he has found fantasy value since he, like Randy Arozarena and Adolis Garcia, is an outfielder the St. Louis Cardinals let go.

Rockies vs. Nationals MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I’m going to ride the semi-hot hand and take Washington. While the Nationals have yet to officially announce a starter, Patrick Corbin is likely to face the Rockies tonight. He’s 6-10 with a 4.89 ERA but aside from his first start of the season, Corbin has lasted at least five innings in every game. He’s likely to give up a few runs and he’s surrendered at least one home run in 18 of his 20 starts this season, so it’ll be far from perfect tonight in D.C. However, I think Dominic Smith and CJ Abrams will give the Nats just enough offense to pull this one out tonight.
