Rockies vs. Nationals Prediction
The Rockies are playing better baseball of late and even flexed their offensive muscles on Monday night in a 10-6 win over the Nationals in Game 1 of the teams’ series in D.C. Is there value in the underdog Rockies again on Tuesday night when the series continues at 7:05 p.m. ET?

Colorado Rockies DFS SPIN
Ezequiel Tovar went 4-for-5 with an RBI and also stole a base on Monday in the Rockies’ win over the Nationals. Tovar has put together an impressive rookie campaign after shaking off some early-season struggles and will be at the epicenter of Colorado’s latest rebuilding project.
Washington Nationals DFS SPIN
Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer on Monday in the Nationals’ loss to the Rockies. Candelario walloped a three-run blast — his 16th long ball of the season — off Rockies reliever Gavin Hollowell in the eighth inning as part of another multi-hit effort. The 29-year-old infielder might wind up being among the more impactful position players moved by next week’s trade deadline as he’s batting .257/.335/.486 with 53 runs scored, 16 homers, 50 RBI and five stolen bases across 394 plate appearances in his Nationals debut

Rockies vs. Nationals MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I like Washington to rebound tonight. Left-hander Austin Gomber will start for the Rockies and while he’s aiming for the nine-win mark for just the second time in his five big-league seasons, he also owns a 6.18 ERA. Granted, most Colorado pitchers have inflated ERAs because of the innings they absorb at Coors Field, but Gomber hasn’t been sharp regardless. He’s also posted a 7.23 ERA in four starts against the Nationals, who will counter with Trevor Williams. The right-hander hasn’t exactly been lights out this season for Washington, but he is a respectable 5-5 with a 4.38 ERA.
