Mariners vs. Angels Prediction
The Seattle Mariners earned a road win last night at the Los Angeles Angels to at least put a temporary halt on their rapid descent the last couple months. Is there good reason to take Seattle again tonight?

Santana homers twice in win
Domingo Santana hit two home runs Friday night in a 6-2 victory at the Angels. He ended the contest 2-for-5 with the two solo blasts. Tom Murphy was 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs to also contribute heavily. Dan Vogelbach finished 2-for-4 and scored a run. Marco Gonzales picked up the win as he gave up two earned run on two hits over 5 2/3 innings, striking out five and walking three. Angels muster four hits
Los Angeles fell by a 6-2 score at home Friday night against Seattle to drop to 30-34 overall and 16-17 at home. Kole Calhoun helped pace the Angels offense as he finished 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk. Mike Trout was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored. Tommy La Stella went 1-for-2 with an RBI off the bench. Andrew Heaney took the loss as he gave up five earned run on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings, striking out 10 and walking two. MLB Betting Trends
Seattle
The Mariners are 4-17 in their last 21 road games. Seattle is 0-6 in its last six Saturday games.
Los Angeles
The Angels are 1-4 in their last five games overall. Los Angeles is 0-4 in its last four home games versus a team with a losing record.
Prediction:
It’s difficult to trust Seattle two days in a row and Kikuchi has hit a rough patch, so I think the smart play here is on the hosts. Peters has the stuff and as long as he is decent on the mound through five innings, he should put the Angels in a good position to win.
