Bet Tonight’s Rangers vs. Reds Game
TEXAS: Holland returns after a two-month absence due to shoulder inflammation. He sported a 4.50 ERA during his three rehab starts and currently owns a 5.20 ERA in 14 big-league starts this season. The Rangers are 4-1 in his lat five starts overall, are 4-0 in his last four interleague outings, but are just 3-7 in his last 10 road starts.
CINCINNATI: Straily limited the Marlins to two runs over six innings while striking out seven batters in a win last Thursday. He gave up six hits on the night but didn’t walk a batter. A two-run home run to Marcell Ozuna in the sixth inning was the only damage Straily allowed on the night. It was the seventh straight start in which the right-hander has allowed two runs or fewer.

OUR PICK: The Reds have been a great bet with Straily on the mound, winning all seven of his last seven starts. They’re also 4-0 in his last four home starts, are 6-0 in his last six outings when he’s coming off a quality start in his last appearance, and are 6-2 in his last eight home starts versus a team with a winning record. Given that this is Holland’s first game back after a lengthy stretch on the disabled list, Straily and the Reds are worth a flier at a decent price tonight.
