Rangers vs. Angels Prediction
The Texas Rangers will be an underdog tonight with Cole Hamels on the mound when they visit the Los Angeles Angels at 9:05PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Angels are -120 money line favorites over the Rangers, who have odds of +100 to pull off the small upset. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 7 runs.
Bet Tonight’s Rangers vs. Angels Game
Hamels yielded two runs over seven innings in his season debut on Monday. The Rangers beat the Mariners 3-2 as Hamels allowed a solo home run to both Robinson Cano and Kyle Seager. He was otherwise effective while striking out eight batters and walking three in the victory.
The Angels will counter with Garrett Richards, who surrendered three runs in five innings while striking out seven batters on Monday versus the Cubs. Unfortunately for Richards he was out-dueled by Jake Arrieta, who was simply dominant in Chicago’s victory.

The Rangers are 12-1 in Hamels’ last 13 starts dating back to last season and are 5-1 in his last six road starts. They’re also a perfect 7-0 in Hamels’ last seven starts versus the rest of the AL West and are 8-0 in his last eight starts versus a team with a losing record.
