Detroit Tigers DFS SPIN
Nick Maton smacked a game-tying two-run double in the eighth inning on Friday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Tigers to victory over the Marlins. The Tigers rallied back from an early 4-0 deficit to tie the game on Maton’s two-out, two-run double off of JT Chargois in the eighth inning. The Marlins would retake the lead in the bottom half of the inning though, on their way to a 6-4 victory. Maton finished the day 2-for-2 with a run scored, two RBI and his first stolen base of the season in defeat. He’s now hitting .172/.294/.300 with seven homers and 29 RBI.
Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Bryan De La Cruz homered, doubled and drove in three runs on Friday night, leading the Marlins to a 6-5 victory over the Tigers. De La Cruz opened the scoring in the opening inning as he clobbered a 398-foot (98.8 mph EV) two-run blast off of right-hander Reese Olson. He then added to the Marlins’ advantage with an RBI double in the third inning that made it a 4-0 ballgame. He finished the night 2-for-4 and is now hitting .273/.317/.441 with 14 homers and 57 RBI on the season.

Tigers vs. Marlins MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Give me the Marlins. Beau Brieske will start for the Tigers in what will be just his sixth major league appearance of the year – as well as his first start. He’ll be going up against Johnny Cueto, who is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA on the season but is coming off an outstanding start on July 22 when he held the Rockies to just two hits with one walk and one run in six innings. He struck out eight batters in his first start since April 3 so if he can capture today what he did that day, the Marlins should be in good shape.
