Blue Jays get blanked
Toronto saw its three-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday in a 7-0 loss to the Astros. The Jays are now 37-42 overall for the season with a 17-22 record on the road. Toronto is putting up 4.51 runs per game this season while allowing 4.83 per contest.
Marco Estrada is getting the start for the Blue Jays this afternoon. He has started 15 games this season and has a 4-7 record with a 4.48 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. Estrada has pitched 84.1 innings this year and has 68 strikeouts with 22 walks.

Houston gives the ball to Dallas Keuchel this afternoon. He is 4-8 this season through 16 starts with a 3.90 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP. Keuchel has pitched a total of 97.0 innings this season and has 77 strikeouts and 25 walks.
MLB Betting Trends
Toronto
The Blue Jays are just 1-10 in their last 11 road games against a left-handed starters and 2-6 in Estrada’s last eight starts.
Houston
The Astros have won 16 of their last 19 overall and 37 of Keuchel’s last 55 home starts. They also have won five straight Game 3’s in a series.
Prediction:
Keuchel has been the least reliable of the Houston starting pitchers, but I think he has a matchup that will go in his favor today. Toronto has struggled against left-handed pitching and Estrada isn’t someone that has shown a lot of ability to completely shut down an opposing lineup. Houston can beat you with its pitching and its hitting and I just don’t think the Jays will have an answer today.
The Pick: Houston Astros -200
