Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Jorge Polanco went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in Wednesday’s loss to the Astros. Polanco picked up double No. 16 on the season in Wednesday’s loss. For the overall campaign, the 29-year-old infielder is slashing .237/.346/.403 with 15 homers, 55 RBI and three steals across 367 at-bats. Barring a monster power surge over the final month-plus of the season, Polanco looks like he will fall well short of the career-best 33 homers he launched last summer.
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Trey Mancini went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Wednesday’s win over the Twins. Mancini jumped on a Michael Fulmer offering with one on and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning, taking it over the fence to push the Astros to a 5-1 advantage. While the former Orioles lynchpin has yet to put it together on the average front with his new crew, hitting just .232 (13-of-56), he has made a strong impression with the home run ball, having now connected for five homers in 17 games since joining the Astros.
