Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports outfielder Trevor Larnach is drawing interest from multiple teams, including the Padres and Mets. Larnach would make sense for either club as part of their corner outfield and designated hitter mix for the next few seasons. The 26-year-old former first-round pick hasn’t totally put it together with Minnesota and could be used to bolster their postseason odds since he doesn’t exactly have a role in the majors at the moment. He’s a name to watch prior to Tuesday’s trade deadline.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Miles Mikolas is scheduled to start Tuesday against the Twins. Mikolas threw just 14 pitches before being ejected from last Thursday’s game against the Cubs after drilling Ian Happ in the opening frame. The 34-year-old righty is appealing his five-game suspension, which should enable him to take the ball on Tuesday in place of Jack Flaherty. It’s still possible Flaherty could wind up staying in St. Louis, but he’s going to have his next start pushed back a couple days in case he’s moved.

Twins vs. Cardinals MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Lopez is 5-6 with a 4.13 ERA and is seeking his first victory since July 5 when he blanked the Royals 5-0 with a complete-game four hitter. He struck out 12 batters in that outing and walked none, but he has allowed five home runs and walked six batters in 17 2/3 innings over his past three games. As for Miles Mikolas, who will start for the Cardinals, he’s 6-6 with a 4.38 ERA. He earned a five-game suspension for hitting Cubs outfielder Ian Happ with a pitch last Thursday, but he’s appealing the suspension. This is a good enough pitching matchup to take the under.
