Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Jhoan Duran recorded his 18th save despite giving up a homer Tuesday against the Cardinals. Duran is throwing as hard as ever, but he’s given up 11 runs in 9 2/3 innings over the last month after allowing a total of seven runs — five earned — in his first 29 appearances. The Twins will keep turning to him in save chances for now, but if his struggles linger, it will open the door for Griffin Jax.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Tyler O’Neill homered off Jhoan Duran for the Cardinals’ lone run Tuesday against the Twins. The Cardinals didn’t shed O’Neill or anyone else from the offense before the trade deadline, but they did lose Brandon Donovan for the season. While that’s far from a good thing, it does bring some clarity to what the offense will look like the rest of the way. O’Neill has been quite productive since coming off the IL, and he should be rostered in all formats

Twins vs. Cardinals MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Ryan was lifted after allowing four runs in 3 2/3 innings Wednesday in a loss to the Mariners. He struck out seven, but he let in one run each inning today. He’s had just one quality start in his last five tries, giving up 13 homers over 28 1/3 innings during that span. That said, tonight he’s also facing a lifeless Cardinals team that gave up on the field long before the front office gave up at the deadline. Hudson is expected to start for a St. Louis rotation that was gutted at the deadline and he’s proven time and time again that he’s not a big-league starter. Give me the Twins at a great price.
