Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Carlos Correa went 1-for-4 against the Rays on Tuesday in a loss. He had Minnesota’s only extra-base hit of the game, a hard-hit double off Zach Eflin, but was stranded. Correa also left a team-high three runners on base. The funk has shown little sign of abating, as he’s now hitting .231/.355/.308 in his last 15 games. His strike-out rate has climbed from 20.5% in 2022 to 23.8% this year. Hopefully the double can get him on a roll, but the way he’s been playing he’s certainly not giving you much reason to start him.
Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
Luke Raley went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and two runs scored against the Twins in a 7-0 win Tuesday. Raley crushed a fifth-inning Louis Varland change up off the batter’s eye in center field 450 feet away. It landed so hard that it left a visible mark. He also tripled in the game. Raley had been lowered in the lineup of late, so it was nice to see the Rays bat him third. He now has a .261/.355/.590 line in 134 at-bats and can’t be counted on to start on the platoon-happy Rays, but can be counted on to perform when he does start.
