Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Miguel Sanó (knee) went 1-for-3 on Tuesday in a minor league rehab game for the Twins’ rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate. Sanó played first base in his second minor league rehab contest as he continues to work his way back from surgery to repair his left knee meniscus back on May 5. The 29-year-old first baseman was hitting just .093/.231/.148 with one homer in 17 games prior to undergoing surgery. There’s a chance he’s ready to return in late July or early August.
Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Eloy Jiménez (hamstring) could be activated on Wednesday. If not Wednesday then Thursday. Jiménez joined up with the team on Tuesday evening, so he’s presumably done with his minor league rehab assignment. The 25-year-old slugger posted a .718 OPS with two home runs, seven RBI, four walks, and seven runs scored in 11 games (44 plate appearances) for Triple-A Charlotte. He’s been sidelined since late April because of a severe right hamstring strain.
