Updated AL Central Odds
(The Spread) – Sitting at the All-Star Break, there are only three teams in the American League Central with odds to win the division.
Oddsmakers have installed the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers as +120 money line favorites, respectively, to win the American League Central this season. The Cleveland Indians are +350 to win the division, while the Minnesota Twins and Kansas City Royals don’t even have odds.
The White Sox are currently sitting in first place at 47-38 while the Indians are three games back at 44-41. The Tigers, who were favored to win the World Series entering the season, are 3.5 games back at 44-42 while the Twins are 37-47 and the Royals are 36-49.

Despite the AL Central odds, the Tigers remain favored among the teams in the division to win the 2012 World Series at 14/1. The White Sox, meanwhile, are 18/1 to win the Fall Classic while the Indians are 45/1 and the Royals are 150/1. The Twins are massive 300/1 long shot to win this year’s World Series.
As for American League Pennant odds, the Tigers are 15/2, the White Sox are 10/1 and the Indians are 20/1. The Royals and Twins are long shots at 80/1 and 150/1, respectively.
