The Nationals scored four runs in the first inning and then were silenced from there on Thursday. Howie Kendrick drove in two runs and then Brian Dozier had a two-run home run. MLB Betting Trends
Washington
The Nationals are 7-19 in their last 26 Friday games and 2-8 in their last 10 road games against a left-handed starter.
San Diego
The Padres are 6-13 in their last 19 home games against a losing team and 13-27 in their last 40 Game 2’s of a series.
Prediction:
Fedde has only started three games, but most of his numbers have been pretty solid. The same can’t be said of Margevicius. He has allowed at least five runs in his last three starts and at least three runs in six of his last seven outings. Washington can start fast again tonight, the defense and pitching will just have to stay out of its own way this time.
MLB Prediction: Washington Nationals -105
