The dynamic 28-year-old shortstop is working his way back from a right groin strain and figures to return to the White Sox’ lineup at some point in the near future.

Michael Brantley went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a walk Tuesday as the Astros took down the Rangers. Brantley hit a 90.4 mph single off of John King in the top of the eighth, putting men on first and third to begin the inning. A couple batters later, he came around to score on a Yordan Alvarez RBI ground out. Brantley is on a 10-game hitting streak.
