Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
Jake Burger went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts on Friday in his return to the White Sox’ lineup. Burger rejoined Chicago’s lineup after missing a pair of contests due to a right hand contusion that he sustained earlier this week against the Tigers. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but it did break up some of the recent momentum he had at the dish. It might take him a few games to get back into a groove offensively again.
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Michael Brantley went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and two runs scored in Friday’s win over the White Sox. Brantley scored following his one-out single in the bottom of the first. Then in the Astros’ 10-run bottom of the sixth, he hit a 102.4 mph, 369-foot grand slam off of Matt Foster. The veteran is on a 12-game hitting streak.
