Chicago White Sox DFS Notes
Jose Abreu went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and four total RBI in Tuesday’s 5-2 win over the Blue Jays. Abreu cranked the three-run shot off Jose Berrios in the first inning to help get the White Sox off to a nice start on the scoreboard. He would add a pair of singles and an RBI groundout as the game progressed. For the season now, the veteran slugger is slashing .257/.338/.487 with 26 home runs and 96 RBI in 120 games.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS Notes
Corey Dickerson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday’s loss to the White Sox. The Blue Jays were being shut out by Dylan Cease when Dickerson finally broke through with a solo homer in the seventh inning. That dinger would end up one of just two runs scored by the Blue Jays on the evening, in what finished as a 5-2 defeat. Veteran outfielder Dickerson is working to a .245/.286/.491 triple-slash with three home runs and nine RBI in 18 games with the Blue Jays since coming over in a trade from the Marlins near the end of June.
